his entire working career in the field of association and organizational management. From a beginning as a regional
association government affairs director, to the presidency of the international organization representing the profession of
association management (ASAE-The American Society of Association Executives), he has demonstrated his commitment to strengthening
the role and impact of membership organizations and NGOs across the globe.

His first CEO assignment was his
selection as executive vice president of a bi-state business association at the age of 23. He created what later became
the largest association management company in North Carolina and most recently served as executive vice president of SmithBucklin
Corporation, the world's largest AMC.






Completing a week of leadership training for NGO staffs based in Liberia
Olson has spoken with and assisted both staff and volunteer leaders in Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia,
Spain, Switzerland, Montenegro,Egypt, China, Vietnam and Liberia. He understands the dynamics of leadership and respects
the synergy of staff and board members working in tandem for their organization.
